W. Kuvshinoff, MD, FACS
Dr. Kuvshinoff
is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Ellis Fischel
Cancer Center, University of Missouri Health Sciences Center. His
current position is as Chief, Section of Hepatobiliary and Pancreas
Tumors. Dr. Kuvshinoff's training began at the University of Maryland
Medical School, then general surgery residency at the University
of Cincinnati, and finally surgical oncology fellowship at the Memorial
Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He has been at the University of
Missouri since 1995 in the Division of Surgical Oncology, focusing
on the study and treatment of liver and pancreas tumors. His current
research focus is on regional therapy of liver malignancies. Other
interests include soft tissue sarcomas and GI malignancies.
