Robert
E. Sterling, MD, DFM
Dr. Sterling
received his undergraduate degree from New York University and studied
medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University
of Guadalajara in Mexico. He has been practicing primary care medicine
for the past twenty-one years as a board certified family practitioner.
For the past
nine years he has confined his practice to Occupational Medicine
and has focused on Substance Abuse, detection, disability determination,
Travel Medicine and work related injuries. He has consulted for
Human Resource departments for application of remedies under the
Americans with Disabilities Act. Preparation for this career shift
was through membership in the American College of Occupational and
Environmental Medicine and course work in Occupational Medicine
from the Medical College of Wisconsin Public Health Department.
In addition,
Dr. Sterling's other areas of expertise include repetitive strain
injuries, and employee health as it relates to productivity and
job performance.
